Visitor Procedures

School is one of the safest places for students. This is because they are surrounded by caring and capable adults, as well as being involved in comforting, established routines. It is important for our parent community to routinely comply with our established safety rules. Our Parent Handbook asks that all visitors check into the office each time they enter campus. All visitors must wear volunteer identification or they will be stopped by a staff member and asked to go to the office. Please consider that the safety of our students is our concern as we enforce this policy.

Parents are welcome to observe their child at work within the classroom. One of the best ways to understand your child's classroom program is through visitation. Call ahead to make an appointment for an appropriate time to visit. Classes may be involved in an assembly, special event or testing if a visitor comes unexpectedly. We do not have parent volunteers during lunch hours.

CHECK IN WITH THE OFFICE PRIOR TO VISITING THE CLASSROOM. ALL VISITORS ON CAMPUS MUST CHECK IN WITH THE OFFICE. ANYONE WITHOUT A VISITOR'S BADGE WILL BE ASKED TO GO TO THE OFFICE IMMEDIATELY TO OBTAIN ONE. THIS IS FOR THE SAFETY OF ALL CHILDREN.
