Media Center

The Lee Elementary School Media Center features two PC computer labs, containing a total of 63 computers for student use, two interactive ENO Boards, and a computerized card catalog and book circulation system. Students in grades 1-5 have access to and can check-out books from our continuously growing collection of non-fiction and fiction titles.

Our media center is staffed with a half-time credentialed teacher and a library Instructional Aide. Kindergarten students visit the computer lab weekly, receiving instruction in mouse and keyboard skills as well as our JiJi Math program. Students in grades 1-5 attend weekly classes in both library and computer skills, which include instruction in information literacy, book and Internet research, keyboarding, Internet Safety, coding, word processing and developing multimedia presentations. Students are introduced to award winning literature, popular authors, and various types of print and digital reference materials.
